Summary
The Master’s program in Advanced Research in the Management of Information Systems (ARAMIS) is a one-year program that provides students with training in state-of-the-art research methods and techniques, as well as advanced theoretical foundations in information systems management and data intelligence.
The program offers excellent opportunities for pursuing doctoral studies (e.g., a PhD), with several funding options available. Completing a PhD opens pathways to academic careers in universities, business schools, and engineering schools. The program also prepares graduates for careers as information systems consultants or executives in French or international consulting and auditing firms, as well as classical jobs in information systems, start-ups, and technology-driven entrepreneurial ventures.
The curriculum equips students with a solid understanding of the research process and a high level of specialized expertise in information systems. Students acquire up-to-date knowledge and develop strong competencies within their chosen areas of specialization. The program allows them to select elective courses aligned with their academic and professional objectives. The Master’s thesis constitutes a central component of the research training.
Students benefit from strong connections with an extensive and dynamic network of major corporations and consulting firms — among them BCG, Hardis Group, and Deloitte, which also contribute to teaching in the program. They also gain access to the "Silicon Valley of the Alps", a regional ecosystem of innovative companies and start-ups.
