Do you wish to study at Grenoble IAE - INP, UGA as an exchange student ?

The first step is to apply through your home university. Please, make sure that an exchange agreement exists between your insitution and Grenoble INP. Once your nomination has been sent by your university, you will be contacte by the International Relations Office of Grenoble INP to complete your application to Grenoble IAE - Graduate School of Management.

Application calendar

The dates listed below may be subject to change during the year.

Fall semester / full academic year

  • Nomination by your university: to be confirmed
  • Application to Grenoble IAE: to be confirmed
  • Admission decision: to be confirmed
  • Housing request: to be confirmed

Spring semester

  • Nomination by your university: from September 15 to October 25, 2025
  • Application to Grenoble IAE: from September 16 to November 12, 2025
  • Admission decision: early November 2025
  • Housing request: until November 15, 2025

Results and transcripts
Grades are sent after the examination boards (jury), generally one month after the last exam. The exact dates vary according to each program

Accommodation, visa and insurance

At the end of the application period on the MoveOn platform, you will receive an email containing a link to apply for student housing.
For further information about accommodation, visas (for non-EU students), or insurance, please visit the ISSO website.

Class attendance

Attendance in all classes is mandatory. Any absence must be justified. More than two unjustified absences in the same course will automatically result in failure and require a resit.

Language requirements

- Bachelor: 

  • English track : a B2 level in English 
  • Mixed track: a B2 level in French and English 

- Master 1 in French : a B2 level in French 
- For Master 2 in English : a B2 level in English 
Native speakers do not require to provide a language certificate. 

French as a foreign language

An intensive French week is organized every year, usually at the end of August. The cost for the 2025–2026 academic year is 86 euros. Registration and payment must be completed before attending the course.
French language courses are also available in some programs: Bachelor / L3 Management, M2 ACM and M2 ARAMIS in the fall semester, M2 AFA and M2 QUANTI in the spring semester.

Sports

Students may take part in sports activities free of charge, either for academic purposes or for leisure:

If the activity is included in your Learning Agreement, it will be graded. If it is for leisure only, it will not appear in your course selection and will not be graded.

Buddy System

This program is open only to students staying for the full academic year. Registration opens in July and closes at the end of August.
The Buddy System pairs each international student with a local student who can help with settling in, discovering the city, and integrating into campus life. You will receive a registration link once your administrative enrolment is complete.

Course selection and grading system
To choose your courses, please refer to the list of courses available here (to be update). 
Due to timetable incompatibilities, it is not possible to select courses from different programs.
For students coming for one semester, please make sure there are no exam or semester dates conflicts with your home university. If there are, please contact incomingstudents@grenoble-iae.fr 

We strongly recommend and encourage Master level students to come for the autumn semester or the whole year, for reasons of prerequisite mostly.

All exchange students must take at least 20 ECTS.
